Tideline (tideline.modernnicheworld.com) is part of Modern Niche World and is run by Bhalendu Chaubey, India. This notice explains what Tideline collects, why, how long it keeps it, and the choices you have.
What Tideline collects
- Analytics, only if you accept. With your consent, Google Analytics records how the site is used: pages visited, approximate region and device type. We use it to see which pages help people. Until you accept, no analytics cookies are set. See the cookie policy.
- “Hide my company” requests. If you use the form, we keep the company’s name and website, your message, and your email if you give one, and use them only to handle the request. Your email is used only to reply to you, never shown or shared, and deleted 30 days after we’ve dealt with your request. The rest of the request is kept as a record for as long as the company stays hidden.
- Your searches stay yours. What you choose in the search and in Career Compass is sent to Tideline only to find the matching roles. It isn’t stored or linked to you. Your filters appear in the page’s address, so you can share a search.
- On your device. Tideline keeps your cookie choice in your browser’s storage, so the banner doesn’t ask again.
The roles Tideline shows
Tideline shows open roles that companies publish on their own careers pages: the job title, the place, the pay range as posted, and a link to the employer’s page. It doesn’t collect or show personal data about employees or recruiters. Copies of the public job listings it reads are kept for 14 days to check Tideline’s own work, then deleted.
Services we use
Cloudflare (hosting, security and the database), Google Analytics (only with your consent), and the email service for our contact address. Each handles data under its own privacy terms. Like any website, Cloudflare handles visitors’ IP addresses to deliver pages and protect the site; Tideline doesn’t store them.
Your rights
Depending on where you live (for example under the EU or UK GDPR, or India’s Digital Personal Data Protection Act), you may have the right to access, correct or delete personal data we hold about you, or to object to how it’s used. Email [email protected]. You can also complain to your local data protection authority.
Children
Tideline isn’t meant for children under 13, and we don’t knowingly collect their data.
